In 2015, God planted a seed in my heart—a burden, a call, a quiet whisper that would one day grow into a ministry. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what it would become or where it would lead. There was no clear roadmap, no outlined mission or grand vision. Just a knowing that He had called me to reach girls and young mother’s with His love and truth.
Our first fellowship was hosted in the Natabua housing at Lautoka (the western side of Fiji). We all gathered at the home of one of our Pionnering members which was a night of fellowship, praise and worship proceeding to a bible reflection, it didn’t really resonate that something was birthed in that first fellowship. At this initial gathering I was only visiting Fiji with my two children.
I remember praying as we prepared to travel to Fiji, asking the Lord to help me make use of my time visiting that I would like to do something with my time and not just holiday for the sake of my own personal gain.
Like many beginnings, it was simple. Unclear. Even a little intimidating.
But obedience doesn’t always begin with clarity—it begins with faith.
Fast forward to 2020, when the world shifted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Churches closed their doors, and physical gatherings halted. Isolation and uncertainty loomed heavily, especially for young women seeking connection, hope, and spiritual growth. It was in this moment of global pause that the ministry transitioned online.
What began in quiet obedience became a lifeline. We hosted online devotions, shared testimonies, and opened space for prayer. Women who were once distant found community through screens. Hearts were stirred. Faith was ignited. The Holy Spirit moved—not bound by walls, time zones, or distance.
And yet, even then, the ministry still had no formal vision or mission statement. For years, I wrestled with this. Was it incomplete without one? Was I missing something?
But here’s what I’ve learned: sometimes God doesn’t give you the whole picture upfront. Like a puzzle, He reveals one piece at a time. You don’t always know how each piece fits until you look back and see how beautifully He’s been shaping the whole.
Over the past decade, I’ve seen highs and lows alongside moments of deep encouragement and others of deep discouragement. Times when I questioned the call, and times when His presence was unmistakably clear. These moments remind me how deeply we need the Holy Spirit. Not just for direction, but for endurance, clarity, and grace.
Now, almost a decade later, the vision and mission have become clear.

This ministry has taught me that what starts as a whisper can become a wave. That obedience often precedes understanding. That God honors our “yes,” even when it’s small. And that the Holy Spirit is not a vague concept, but a real, present Helper who reveals things in due time.
If you’re building something and you can’t yet see the full picture, keep going. Stay close to the Father. Trust the Holy Spirit. Your faithfulness in the unknown is shaping something eternal.
And just like He did with this ministry, He will make it plain—in His time.
While we now embark on a new season I know that God is leading the way as He has always done.
Ascribing all Glory to God for his mercy!
In Christian love,
Carolyne
