Transition is often the space between what was and what will be—a holy in-between that can feel both disorienting and divine. It’s where we release what’s familiar, yet haven’t fully stepped into what’s next. These seasons can feel uncomfortable, lonely, and even painful, because growth is happening beneath the surface. God may be stripping away old habits, healing hidden wounds, or inviting us to trust Him more deeply than we ever have before. And while it may seem like nothing is happening, heaven is always active in the waiting. Isaiah 43:19 says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” Even when we don’t perceive it, God is moving.
New seasons rarely begin with clarity—they often begin with surrender. Transition stretches our faith because it requires us to let go without fully knowing what’s next. But it’s in these very moments that God draws us close, shapes our character, and prepares us for the purpose ahead. The pain of transition is not punishment—it’s preparation. So if you find yourself in the in-between, take heart. This season is not a detour, it’s part of your divine development. Trust that the God who began a good work in you will carry it through (Philippians 1:6)even when the road is hidden and the process feels slow.

For women of faith, it’s important to remember that some blessings, breakthroughs, and answers don’t come all at once—and that’s not a sign of failure or forgotten prayers. Sometimes God unfolds His promises in pieces, not to tease or delay us, but to grow us in the process. Just like a seed planted doesn’t bloom overnight, purpose and calling take time to develop. There’s wisdom in the waiting, strength in the slow build, and beauty in the becoming. God is never rushed, and He isn’t looking for perfection—He’s after your trust. Psalm 27:14 encourages us to “wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart.” Waiting is not weakness; it’s spiritual strength in action.
When we accept that things may not come all at once, we free ourselves from the pressure to have it all figured out. We learn to walk with grace, take one step at a time, and celebrate the small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10).Every season has its assignment. Some are for planting, some for pruning, and others for reaping. But through them all, God is faithful. He’s not just preparing the blessing for you—He’s preparing you for the blessing.

Journal Questions (for personal use) ;
1. What part of your current season feels like a “transition”? How are you experiencing God’s presence in it?
2. Are there areas where you feel you’re being called to let go of control? What would it look like to surrender that to God?
3. Reflect on a past transition—how did God show up for you then? What did you learn?
4. What small step of faith can you take today to align with where God is leading you, even if the full picture isn’t clear?
If you’re in a season of transition today, take a deep breath. You are not alone, and you are not without purpose. This in-between space is a sacred stretch—a place where God is inviting you to trust Him like never before. Lean into the lessons. Embrace the slowness. Hold space for what God is doing right now, even if you don’t understand it yet.
You may not have arrived, but you’re still moving forward—one prayer, one step, one act of obedience at a time. And that, dear sister, is more than enough.
God is Faithful,
Carolyne x
