Sometimes, life presses the pause button for us.

In 2024, I set out to write my eBook, filled with passion and intention. But as life often does, it shifted my focus elsewhere. Other responsibilities took priority, and writing was left behind. For a while, I felt like I had abandoned something meaningful. Yet, looking back, I realize that the pause was exactly what I needed.

What felt like a delay was actually a divine reset.

Fast forward to today, and I find myself in a new season—one that allows me to write with clarity, ease, and a renewed sense of purpose. The words flow differently now, shaped by the experiences and growth I’ve encountered along the way. The journey I am on today is not the same as last year, and neither is the message I now have to share.

This eBook is more than just words on a page. It’s a testament to trusting the process, embracing life’s pauses, and understanding that sometimes, stepping away allows us to return with even greater impact.

To those who have ever felt stuck, uninspired, or delayed—know this: your pause is not a stop. It’s preparation.

You can be assured of this in scripture from

Proverbs 19:21 (NIV) – “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Even when our plans pause, God’s purpose continues to unfold in our lives, you can trust that Gods promises are Yes & Amen. (2 Corinthians 1:20). So while it might not happen now in your pause it will happen later.

There is no pause that you experience that God doesn’t see you and yet he lovingly gives you the grace to sustain you and prepares you for your purpose that will unfold in your life and heart when the time comes.

As I prepare to launch From Pause to Purpose, I do so with a heart full of gratitude—gratitude for the delays, the detours, and the pauses that shaped this journey. What once felt like a setback was actually preparing me for something greater, and now, I get to share that with you. James 1:4 says “Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” The pause in life shapes us and prepares us for the next season.

This eBook is not just about my story—it’s about yours, too. It’s for anyone who has ever felt stuck, delayed, or uncertain about their next step. It’s a reminder that purpose is never lost in the pause; it is refined, deepened, and strengthened.

So, if you’re in a season where life feels on hold, know this: your story is still unfolding, and your purpose is still alive. Trust the timing, embrace the process, and step forward with faith—because even in the pause, purpose is waiting.
