Over the weekend I was privileged to attend a spiritual leadership course. Having walked through the hall way to our allocated rooms I did not notice this writing on the wall until the Sunday afternoon when I decided to have a sit down in this waiting area.

I read it intently “Anything is Possible” and I reiterated to myself “With God”- I was immediately taken to Luke 1:37 as it says in Luke’s Gospel- having had countless conversations with a lot of new people I met in this weekend event “ one of the most asked questions was “So Carolyne what do you do in the church?” I instantly replied – “Nothing”.

Sounds strange right?! How does one attend a leadership event without holding any position in a church- at the moment I would like to think that Gods work through me is missional and it’s not fancy or public but it fits the character that God is birthing while I’m at home. I realised in that moment that God orchestrated the opportunity for me to share and highlight some of the ardent lessons I have learnt during my current season as a SAHM and it reminded me that the season of possibilities are endless although it is dependent on the effort and work you are putting in while your waiting for the possibilities to arise.

Now you might be thinking to yourself? What could you potentially be doing whilst staying at home? There is a lot you can do apart from the childminding, chores and mommy duties. I pray that as you embrace this season whilst being a SAHM know that even whilst your at home anything is possible with God.

Isaiah 40:31 reminds us “For they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength they will Mount up with wings as eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Now let’s be realistic Isaiah is reminding us that to have our strength renewed is not running ahead of our time but he reiterates the importance of “Waiting” yes God is able to provide us with a magnitude of possibilities but first before we proceed we must desire to Wait for God to give us clear directives as to what He has purposed for us to fulfil.

Today, if you are stuck and feeling overwhelmed just know that God desires to bring you to your possibilities but it is a choice you are going to have to make to wait for Him to lead the way for you.

As I end this little reflection, I have just received this revelation “ WAIT FOR GOD TO POSITION YOU FOR PURPOSE, THIS WILL BRING YOU TO AN ARENA OF POSSIBILITIES.”
